Born in Milan in 1977, Fabio La Fauci is an Italian artist who currently lives and works in Berlin, Germany. With influences from Surrealism, Abstract Expressionism, and Minimalism, his paintings of the series “Is It You” combine figurative painting techniques and plastic abstraction. These seemingly faceless portraits are difficult to assign to artistic classifications. The artworks derive from Fabio’s subconscious. They are the result of hidden fears and emotions.
