Isaac Cordal’s miniature sculptures remind people of the dreadful climate change

As Arctic icebergs crash and melt into the oceans and sea levels spike all over the world, more and more artists have now come forward to strongly advocate for climate change awareness.

As his own offering to the issue, Isaac Cordal, a Spanish artist, sprinkles miniature sculptures around cities that pose as a reminder of the global climate problem. They are all meticulously placed in locations, all in different kinds of situations, which would be impossible for people not to notice or pass by. Most of his works include tiny sculpted people half submerged in water to point out the issue of the rising sea levels. They are all also dressed in smart business suits, seemingly pointing to the direction of authoritative figures. His thought-provoking tiny medium of art has caught the attention of a lot of media, dubbing him as an artist unafraid of tackling the current problems of the world.

His works have been photographed and compiled for a book called Cement Eclipses which includes 256 pages of his miniature sculptures.
