We all know that the internet has a million photos of beautifully staged food and cuisine from all over the world. However they are plated and whatever culture they are from, if they are paired with the perfect filter or shot in the most flattering angle, then they are delicious. One artist, however, uses food not as the sole subject for his Instagram posts, but merely another element for his art.
Italian artist Diego Cusano plays with food, in an artistic way, by adding tiny bits of salami, cookies, or even ice cream on top of his illustrations. His drawings are all simply drawn on white paper and the delicious additions blend perfectly well with his drawings and create a charming, playful ambiance on each and every one of his work.

Almost like a merger of reality and fantasy, his collection showcases the most ironic of subjects ranging from a Victorian lady with a Pringle as a hat and Wall-E with eggs for eyes.
