Born in 1979 in Taipei, Taiwan, James Jean is an artist and illustrator who uses a varied range of media. Whether ink, acrylic or digital paintings, his dreamy colorful work takes you on a trip into a surreal world. In 2001, he received his BFA from The School of Visual Arts, New York City, NY. In addition to numerous awards and publications, his unique artworks have been on display in several exhibitions both nationally and abroad. James Jean’s illustrative art is deeply inspired by diverse emotions and experiences.
