Japanese artist turns an old Roomba into a painting robot

The words do-it-yourself get thrown around a lot in all things home-related but DIY products can be just as handy in painting.

Japanese artist HYdeJII has transformed an iRobot Roomba into a robotic painting machine. Dubbed, Mr. Head, the self-painting iRobot is fitted with multiple paint bottles and tubes that allow the machine to squirt paint across a canvas.

Listen beautiful relax classics on our Youtube channel.

Mr. Head utilizes a controlled timing unit which can be adjusted to increase or decrease painting time. Once the masterpiece is done, or when his battery runs out, Mr. Head returns to the charging unit to recover. Check out some shots of Mr. Head at work below, including a video, and visit his website for more.
