The special model G-Shock produced in collaboration between Javier Calleja and 2G, based on the DW-5600 series with playful dial and band design by Javier Calleja.
Javier Calleja has held many solo exhibitions around the world. Calleja happens to be very popular and is known for his paintings of large-eyed children accompanied by humorous text phrases.
The watch is a fully realized collab in a stealth black colorway featuring a “Take Your Time” phrase on the face, printed illustrations on the band, an orange band keeper, and an exclusive case back. This time, a special project between Calleja and Casio G-SHOCK through art curation by 2G!
The base model is the DW-5600, the origin of G-SHOCK, which has previously appeared in countless collaborations. The text TAKE YOUR TIME on the dial, the orange band ring, the resin band and the back cover are all decorated with big eyes characters, making it an item with a sense of humor that is typical of Calleja.
