Celebrate L.A.’s finest jazz musicians with Jazz at LACMA, presented Friday evenings from April to November.
This week, join us for a concert with MFUO with Jacques Lesure & Marvin “Smitty” Smith.
Led by guitarist Jacques Lesure and drummer Marvin “Smitty” Smith, MFUO (which means “groove” in Swahili) is a unique jazz quartet that also includes organist Pete Kuzma and percussionist Christian Moraga. The new group of all-star musicians mixes genres ranging from jazz to Latin fusion to rock and roll.
