TEKIN: A Step Into The Unknown, a collaborative photography exhibition of creative director Samantha Angelo, and photographer Keziban Barry at Blank Space gallery in New York City.
Opening on March 9, 2017, New York City based gallery, Blank Space presents “TEKIN: A Step Into The Unknown”, a collaborative photography show of creative director Samantha Angelo, and photographer Keziban Barry. On display until March 26, 2017, the exhibition features the creative vision of two women through a unique trip to Iceland. Captured in numerous images, Keziban Barry and Samantha Angelo have realized an amazing interaction of landscape and fashion photography. These photographs serve as a visually pleasing narrative that draws the viewer into their spell. Supported by a small production team, the creative duo has challenged Iceland’s unpredictable climatic conditions to capture a unique interaction between fashion, color, and landscape. Their aim was to show the essence and power of nature through the eyes of a lone woman in relation to the vast and unique landscape. Equipped with two digital single-lens reflex cameras, a Phantom Drone, GoPro, five different lenses, and ProFoto lighting, they traveled along the southern coast of the country.
