Paul Roustan is no newbie when it comes to finding success on Kickstarter. He is now well underway in his third campaign, which will include showcasing unique photos in a new book. The images will be unplanned and unposed – in other words, candid shots. This will definitely give a fresh look into body painting as an art.
Roustan is a body painter himself, as well as a professional photographer, for over a decade now. For this project, he aims to give something new and special to his followers and backers. It will be a limited (first) edition copy that will feature behind-the-scenes takes from the models and the photo shoot set. Because we’re used to properly tailored photos, creating this book has been difficult, according to Roustan, mainly in terms of capturing the most natural essence of the images.
