Monday–Friday: June 21–25
Billie Rae Vinson is a painter, teaching artist and educator who lives and works in Los Angeles. Prior to moving to the West Coast, Billie worked in the Education Departments at the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Brooklyn Museum and the Tate Britain where she developed artmaking programs for family, teen, and K – 12 audiences. She has an MA in Critical Writing and Curatorial Practice from Chelsea College of Art and Design in London and an undergraduate degree in Fine Art specializing in sculpture. Billie designs and facilitates tours and workshops at arts organizations across the city including the J. Paul Getty Museum, LACMA, Art Muse, and the Los Angeles Music and Art School.
