Most people keep a diary or journal to document their journeys, but instead of writing in a book traveler Bill Passman prefers to record his travels by permanently writing on his skin with tattoos. In 2010 Passman decided to tattoo a world map across his back after seeing another traveler with similar body art.
Since getting the map illustration, as Passman travels, he has each visited country colored in. Passman then posts photos of his tattoo on his blog to document his achievements in an act of performance art.
