Let This Goopy Rainbow Music Video Melt Your Brain Forever

Combining the pulsing terrain of a brain scan and an abstract sci-fi flick, a music video finds its way into the viewer’s mind by playing around with 3D textures. Japanese musical duo Dustin Wong and Takako Minekawa work with changing timbres, beats, and harmonies to construct a soundscape that matches the video for “Electric Astral Peel.” Under the artistic direction of Milton Croissant, the pair’s music turns into a psychedelia of neon puddles. Throughout the video, we see a liquous face pop through water, with eyes blinking away water. Created with the help of digital tool, Blender, the images throughout the video are formed by replicating the members’ faces from clips of oozing slime.
