Lonely robotic finger seeks love by perpetually “liking” girls on Tinder

I have a soft spot for art that mocks modern technology and this sculpture by Tully Arnot really got me excited. Arnot has humanized the cold soulless technology in our lives by giving it the desire to love, and then a helpless perpetual task of seeking out companionship via the Tinder “dating” app.

His robotic sculpture is simple: a finger hovers above a smartphone with the Tinder app open and it moves up and down “liking” each dating candidate that appears…forever. It is brilliant in its simplicity and truly makes me feel compassion towards the creepy little guy.

Listen beautiful relax classics on our Youtube channel.
