The ultimate hipster dream has been realized: it is now entirely plausible to wear Helvetica or Garamond as a pair of ironic frames. Japan-based company Type has translated two of the most popular typefaces in the world into practical eyewear, whose features are directly inspired by the characteristics of the fonts themselves. The design is retro and slightly bookish, but not without a modern-day twist.
Just like their respective fonts, these cool glasses are available in three different weights: Light, Regular, and Bold. A pair of these unisex frames retails for around $231.
