Street artist Peregrine Church is making the rainy city of Seattle, Washington a little more fun with his art that is only visible when it’s raining. He has installed optimistic phrases like “Stay Dry Out There” and games like hopscotch onto sidewalks across the city.
The magic is created with a (really incredible) super hydrophobic substance that, when applied, aggressively repels water. The substance is environmentally safe and stays active for 4 months to a year after it is installed.
