Makerspace @ The Tech: Summer of Making 2013

Summer is a great time for making, prototyping, and learning!

Maker Education Initiative partnered with 100+ Maker Corps members in their spring development camp as they prepared to send them to many different Makerspaces all over the country for a summer of making. This flagship program of Maker Ed has gotten a lot of national attention, even from President Obama at the White House Science Fair.

Listen beautiful relax classics on our Youtube channel.

The Tech’s Maker Corps members are leading Maker prototyping sessions throughout the summer. You’ll find them in The Tech Studio tinkering with favorite Maker technologies, from MaKey MaKey that turns bananas into pianos or video game joysticks to Squishy Circuits that turns Play-Doh into colorful circuit-building tools. They’ll be innovating with new Maker programs and technologies every week.
