Jeffrey Michael Samudosky just took woodworking to a whole new level with this massive octopus sculpture.
The Washington-based woodcarver started his company JMS Wood Sculpture in 1998 and since then he’s been creating detailed works from Pacific Northwest trees. His latest is a replica of the Enteroctopus dofleini aka Giant Pacific Octopus. The sculpture was carved from a fallen Redwood given provided by Redwood Burl. The detail is absolutely phenomenal!
