Nanoblock’s micro-sized building units make Legos look like child’s play. With the smallest piece measuring 4mmX4mmX5mm, and complete models not much larger than a coin, they present a proper challenge for construction enthusiasts everywhere. Difficulty levels range from simpler models like birds or musical instruments to more elaborate, collectable sets of famous monuments like Big Ben, the Statue of Liberty, and Easter Island. Their tiny size requires attention to detail and a lot of patience!
Nanoblock first went on sale in Japan in October 2008, and rapidly gained a huge following. The tiny blocks are colored using soy inks, which is a nice environmentally conscious detail of the product.
