Mixta, a contemporary serif font family with a unique character and well-defined features.
Designed by Rodrigo Fuenzalida and published by foundry Latinotype in 2020, Mixta is a new serif font family that offers unique characteristics and fine features. The font is based on the idea of mixing different types of terminals in order to give the typographic design a singular appearance. Hence, Mixta is composed of diverse styles such as Didone and contemporary typefaces. The complete font family consists of an extensive set of 1,200 characters that support more than 200 Latin-based languages as well as Cyrillic letters. You can use this typeface for a great variety of projects including branding, graphic design, advertising, editorial design, social media, just to name a few. Mixta’s many weights come with matching Italics. In addition, the family includes numerous OpenType features such as small caps, different types of figures, and a wide variety of alternates.
