Molecular jewelry’s symbolic significance

Wondering what was happening in her brain, scientifically, during a post-relationship blues period, Raven Hanna started researching neurotransmitters’ role in one’s mood. In her search she noted that serotonin, a molecule associated with happiness, would make a pretty pendant.

Not finding any serotonin jewelry online, Hanna decided to make her own, setting off her jewelry-line consisting of molecule-inspired necklaces, earnings, pendants and bracelets. Hanna’s work employs the molecular language to convey concepts and emotions, while showing off the grace of molecular-design. The significance of the jewelry becomes surprisingly deep when one realizes their shapes are connected to our vices, drives, desires, masculinity/femininity, energy, friendships, among many other things.
