A brave child is a monster’s worst nightmare. You’re probably familiar with hit Disney flick Monsters Inc. and its sequel. Monsters exist for only one reason: to scare the heck out of unsuspecting kids when they’re trying to sleep.
‘Terreurs’ is a new series of digital illustrations and retouched photographs by Laure Fauvel. The French retoucher mixes images of real children playfully facing their inner demons with some very funny-looking monsters that only a child’s imagination could conjure. Fauvel has explored the same notion several times and they can be viewed on her personal website or on Behance.
