Monumental Star Wars sculpture made for Japanese Snow Festival

A massive snow sculpture that took one month and the (rumored) help of the Japanese Army to construct has been completed in Japan. What theme is worthy of such an epic monument? Star Wars, of course. The sculpture, made for the 66th Sapporo Snow Festival, stands 15 meters tall and 23 meters wide and took 3,500 tons of snow to build.

The highlight of the work of art is a bust of Darth Vader, beckoning Luke to join the Dark Side. Also included are three Stormtroopers, two TIE Fighters, and a comparably small Death Star in the background.
