Born in the city of Lyon, Dodo Ose was introduced to art at a young age. After completing a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art in Cannes he decided the redirect the urban style of his youth towards traditional painting. Drawing on various academic influences, he refined his technique and started showing with galleries in Cannes. His thirst for knowledge and more extensive experiences lead him to move to Montreal in 2010 and begin working with the production company A’shop. He was then prompted to reconnect with his roots and cultivate his personal style. Today, he enjoys playing with symbolism and universal archetypes, by crafting surreal dreamscapes that merge the figurative with the imaginary. Dodo Ose seeks to convey the abstract, latent feelings that lurk behind our eyelids. His work reflects the Jungian energy of poetry and fantasy.
