My Town Photo Series by Marietta Varga

‘My Town’ vol. II – calm and nostalgic photographs by Marietta Varga.

Marietta Varga is a Hungarian photographer with a passion for architectural and conceptual photography. Her series ‘My Town’ vol. II is a nostalgic tribute to her old home town. On a cold morning when everything was covered by frost, the photographer has taken a series of images that show an almost deserted settlement in a quiet and nostalgic mood. Marietta Varga says: “Rarely does something in reality look the same as in our memories. This morning was the first time in a long time that I was able to see my home town precisely as it exists in my mind.”
