NADA House 2021 Call for Proposals

NADA is now accepting applications for the third edition of NADA House, May 8 – August 1, 2021. The collaborative, public exhibition on Governors Island will take place in an expanded format across over 50 rooms in three neighboring turn-of-the-century Colonial Revival buildings. The deadline to apply is Friday, February 26th.

Galleries, non-profits, and artist-run spaces are invited to propose an artist for this collaborative format that will engage the unique character of the spaces, and understand the public nature of this exhibition and its audiences. NADA encourages proposals such as large-scale sculptural installations, immersive environments, or wall murals that take full advantage of the spaces and this public setting. As Governors Island has existed as a small community alongside, yet distinctly separate from the metropolis of New York City for many years, this project presents an unusual exciting context for artists to display their work.
