Writer, director, and presenter Ryan Conolly, best known for his internet shows ‘Film Riot‘ and ‘Film State,’ is out with a new short called ‘Proximity.’ When a large portion of funding dropped for another planned movie, Ryan found himself behind the camera for a completely different project and ‘Proximity’ was born.
Fans of ‘Film Riot’ had been anticipating the release of ‘Proximity’ ever since Ryan announced that he had finished a certain 10-page script within a matter of days on his Facebook page. “Given that it is an action film that takes place in the middle of nowhere, that was no easy task!” says Connolly.
