Such isolated and distant place, a Western culture country in Indian ocean, Australia felt like a perfect setting for Ludo’s recognizable paste ups. Continuously focused on the interaction of humans and nature, and the way we keep changing our environment while affecting all the other living beings along the way, French artist’s morphed creatures blended in smoothly with the new context. Placed both along the ocean, but also in the alleys of major cities, they seem to have stronger impact in such remote place, so obviously altered and transformed by the “modern” civilization.
