Nobel Truong’s fluorescent acrylic plants set in deserts of LA

Who knew cacti could look so good in fluorescent see-through acrylic form?

LA-based industrial designer Nobel Truong has created a number of acrylic plant objects from translucent cacti, lamps, leaves, and more. According to her artist statement, the works are “Inspired by Bauhaus architecture and the Memphis Group, the Truong’s collection aims to cast a postmodern take on everyday household objects while incorporating the structural forms of modern architecture.”
