North Wing Addition Concrete Pour Time-Lapse

A major milestone in the construction of the Museum’s North Wing Addition has been reached. Beginning at 5 a.m. on the morning of August 19, 2013, over 40 trucks brought in over 400 cubic yards of concrete to begin pouring the floor of what will be the 26,000 square foot contemporary gallery. The east end of the floor was poured first, and the west end will be poured in early September 2013. Watch the progress.
