Mark Cersosimo is a filmmaker and Vimeo employee who has created a short documentary about C.D. Hermelin, also known as “The Roving Typist.” Based in New York City, Hermelin is a short story author who goes to city parks with his typewriter and develops spur-of-the-moment stories for passersby.
To get one of Hermelin’s stories, you simply have to tell him what you would like your story to be about and you only pay him if you like what he writes. If you’re not in NYC, you can ask for a story online via his website.
