On February 20th, San Francisco-based Gauntlet Gallery will play host to ‘Evil Tender Presents: In Reference,’ a gallery show curated by Evil Tender Dot Com. 24 artists will collaborate on an ambitious project using a series of photographs commissioned from artist Holly Burnham and model Hattie Watson. The artists will use the photographs as their reference from which they will create their own original artwork.
‘In Reference’ explores the idea of an individual woman transformed and given new purpose and power through art. Among the illustrators, printmakers, and painters featured are Jay Shaw, Kilian Eng, Nikita Kaun, Marc Aspinall, Eric Petersen, Jack Durieux, Randy Ortiz, and more.
