On His Own, a photography series by Pawel Franik that draws attention to the fact of being alone.

Born in 1991 in a small town named Knurow, Pawel Franik is a Polish photographer who currently lives Warsaw where he studies Film and Photography on WST. His photo series ‘On His Own’ features different human beings completely alone in a variety of spaces. Pawel Franik says: “The purpose of this series is to draw attention to the fact of being alone, just with one’s own self.” But it’s not his intention to show it as something sad. Whether being lonely or living in a relationship, everyone needs their moment of loneliness. From time to time, those moments are important to find yourself again.
