Mirko Ilić, born in Yugoslavia, has been creating a full-scale resume over the past three decades. He has become one of the most famous graphic design pioneers in America, featuring illustrations and designs that have allowed him to grace the covers and spreads of various publications.
However, his real roots are deep into the world of comic book creation. Over time, he has also dabbled into designing album, magazine, and movie covers.

“All of this was the same job to me, except some things like comics required more table time and sitting than others. But I didn’t make any distinction between them. As a matter of fact, I liked switching from one to another, it gave me a break from routine—and I started every job refreshed,” he said, about his diverse portfolio.
