Over the weekend, Jaski Gallery in Amsterdam hosted the opening of sold out solo show from Chris Berens entitled Feniks, Utilizing a special mixed media process, the Dutch artist hand paints different fantastical elements on glossy paper and then collages them together to get his unique finished image. Included in the new body of work was the centerpiece of the exhibition, Crowning Glory, a large 240 x 220 cm painting with its own specially designed and frame created by a master wood carver.
