Over the weekend, Deluxe Fluxx opened in a new permanent home at The Belt in Detroit, a downtown alleyway with art curated by the Library Street Collective. The immersive art installation & arcade by Brooklyn-based artist duo Faile and artist Bast has traveled to multiple locations around the world, but will be putting down its roots in the Motor City as a bar and music venue. Those hunting for the location should look on the north side of the alley for a door with neon X’s, which leads down to a nostalgic basement venue that takes its design cues from punk, graffiti and arcade culture.
