Since March of 2019, Hyperallergic has offered this monthly resource for artists and creatives to share their work and find new opportunities. The arts and culture sector has since been severely impacted by the COVID-19 crisis, making grants and paid opportunities for independent artists and cultural organizations more important than ever.

Impossible Sites

Critical Minded
COVID-19 Relief Grants

Dias Art Prize
This newly founded biennial award for practicing artists under 35 provides three custom-made grants to fit the winners’ project proposals.

Foundation for Contemporary Arts
FCA Emergency Grants COVID-19 Fund
US-based experimental artists who have been impacted by the economic fallout from postponed or canceled performances and exhibitions are eligible to apply for one-time grants of $1,500.

NYFA
Tri-State Relief Fund

Please Hold invites teens and young adults ages 13–19 from across the globe to submit artwork for exhibition at the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati. Digital submissions are welcome.

The de Young Open
This new open-submission exhibition at the museum will feature the work of Bay Area artists, who will be permitted to offer their exhibited work for sale and retain 100% of the proceeds.

Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute
Curatorial Fellowship in Afro-Caribbean Art
CCCADI’s year-long fellowship for emerging curators of color committed to the artistic and cultural production of the Afro-Caribbean and its Diaspora is open for applications. The 10 Fellows accepted will receive a stipend.
