Forge Project – 2024 Fellowship
Applications are open for this funded fellowship program for Indigenous artists, scholars, organizers, cultural workers, researchers, and educators. Six individuals will each receive $25,000 and more.

PEN America – Emerging Voices Fellowship
This virtual five-month mentorship program is for early-career writers from communities that are traditionally underrepresented in the publishing world. Twelve fellows will receive an honorarium of $1,500.

MacDowell – Fall/Winter 2024–25 Fellowships
Open to artists working in architecture, film/video arts, interdisciplinary arts, literature, music composition, theatre, and visual arts. Journalists may apply for the Art of Journalism Initiative.

Montello Foundation – Artist Retreat
Meant as a respite from the urban environment, this solitary artists’ retreat is intended to provide residents with two weeks of undisturbed experimentation and reflection in the Nevada desert. Donate $20 to apply.

The peer-reviewed interdisciplinary journal invites submissions for this unthemed, open call that asks: Who is missing from WSQ’s discourse and how can the journal remove barriers to those already actively reworlding feminisms?

MTA Arts & Design (A&D) – Call for Art Submissions
In conjunction with the renovation of the 242 Street-Van Cortlandt Park station in the Bronx, A&D is seeking art for their ongoing Percent for Art project. Projects are site-specific and engage a variety of media — painting, mosaic, glass, textiles, sculpture, and works that are integrated into the infrastructure, or architecture.

Now open to international applicants, this open call accepts submissions from solo artists or groups. The Grand Prize winner receives NTD 600,000 (~$19,500), and three Honorable Mention winners receive NTD 200,000 (~$6,500).

Creative Recovery LA
This regional initiative will distribute $26 million to Los Angeles nonprofit arts organizations hardest hit by the pandemic. Organizations can apply for multiple grants.

NYSCA x Wave FarmMedia Arts Assistance Fund (MAAF) for Artists 2024
MAAF supports individual artists in completing and presenting new works in sound and moving image art, fostering artistic exploration, public engagement, and the advancement of emergent technology.

Decorative Arts Trust – Publishing Grants
The program awards grants to support book-length publications tied to collections, exhibitions, and conferences that increase the awareness and appreciation of important areas of research in the decorative arts including catalogues and compilations of conference papers.

Sony Future Filmmaker Awards
Accepting applications in six categories: Fiction, Non-Fiction, Environment, Animation, Student, and Future Format. Thirty shortlisted filmmakers will be flown to LA for a four-day event and workshop program.
