Patterned, Avant-Garde Wooden Blocks Inspired by Russian Toys

Sasha Braulov and Nasya Kopteva​ are the designers behind 52 FACTORY, who recently presented their new collection of wooden toys at SaloneSatellite. RED DOLLS came about after studying the shapes of traditional Russian toys along with the graphic works of Russian avant-garde artists. The result was nine wooden objects hand-painted with reimagined patterns based on the works of Varvara Stepanova, Lyubov Popova, Alexander Rodchenko, Ilya Chashnik and Kazimir Malevich.
