Paul Matter’s Flutter Lighting Is a Take on a Deconstructed Wall Clock

Just two years ago, New Delhi-based design studio Paul Matter launched their debut collection of lighting called TANGO and now they’re back with a swing arm light named Flutter. The new series is the studio’s idea of a deconstructed clock that’s scaled back and left with only two arms.

The long rotating arms are attached to a vertical, wall-mounted spine that results in a minimalist yet oversized fixture. Flutter comes in three variations, each with two elongated arms that can be adjusted to wherever light is needed. They can be hung alone or with others to create a unique wall composition, as well as primary and secondary light.
