Phones sprout flowers and arms reach out from walls in Brooke DiDonato’s digital edits

There’s always something amiss in Brooke DiDonato‘s floral photographs.

The Brooklyn-based photographer captures everyday scenes that always contain mysteries and illusions. Flowers sprout from telephone receivers, disembodied arms reach out from walls, and shoes melt into asphalt.

Listen beautiful relax classics on our Youtube channel.

DiDonato says, “The bulk of my images are set in real locations, but the characters in them are often exaggerated or imagined. I’m interested in blending these different elements together and delivering them through a medium that was traditionally thought of as a way to archive our realities.”
