It’s not uncommon for people to sit around their houses in nothing but their underwear, and if they have mirrors hung up around the house then they know what they look like while they do stuff in the nude.

That makes nudity a normal thing for people when they’re at home, but it’s also something nobody talks about because it used to be taboo, which German photographer Sophia Vogel wants to help change.
Sophia‘s literally revealing series “With and Without” shoots people doing everyday activities while clothed then she reshoots the scene while they’re unclothed, showing how mundane nudity can be:
“Over the last couple of years, nudity has emerged from being one of society’s taboos,” she told Vice. “I love to present nudity in an aesthetic manner without any sexual context.”
“We are observed and judged every day, and the fashion industry lavishes beauty ideals and criticism on us. We set high standards for ourselves,” she said. “By presenting all kinds of different body shapes and natural postures, I would love to show that everybody is beautiful in their own way.”
