Sculpture artist Willy Verginer creates beautifully detailed masterpieces from solid chunks of lindenwood carved with dexterity. Each of his characters evoke a different kind of emotion, displaying facial and physical expressions at play, rest, or thought.
His recent works are a part of his Human Nature series where he blends the wood carvings with additional materials then colors them with acrylic. Verginer adds different objects and textures to emphasize the playful meaning in his work.
