Created at Stanford University over five years of research and development, TeachAIDS is
a nonprofit that develops highly customized interactive software to solve numerous persistent problems in HIV prevention around the world. It is regularly used in regions where no other HIV education has been allowed due to social taboos . It also demonstrates the greatest efficacy of any intervention in regions with high HIV prevalence.

TeachAIDS software is used by governments, NGOs, schools, and other groups in 74 countries, and it is working on creating enough versions to serve the whole world, and generalizing its breakthrough research approach to health issues beyond HIV and AIDS.
