Following up on his showing with two other artists last year at beinArt Gallery, Adrian Cox will be opening a show on June 3rd. For his first solo in Australia, the St. Louis-based artist has created a new body of work entitled Sensory Garden, oil paintings featuring his signature “Border Creatures,” hybrid creatures that live in the the wilderness of the “Borderlands.” Each character is an amalgamation of the environment around them including flora, fauna, and crystallized mineral deposits.
