Jerry N. Uelsmann, artist

Jerry Uelsmann, whose work is currently shown in the exhibition Faking It: Manipulated Photography Before Photoshop, describes his influences and his evolution as an artist. Using multiple projectors and darkroom techniques, he creates dreamlike images that are considered precursors to manipulated photographs created using Photoshop.
