This amazing sculpture of a human skull is by Dutch artist Diddo. The object is a traditional rendering of the popular artistic subject except that this skull is crafted entirely out of illegal street cocaine.
The surface is beautiful and soft and creates a sharply contrasting emotion when paired with the strong references associated with the destructive street drug. The goal of this concept loaded work titled ‘Ecce Animal’ is to explore human’s biological make-up and how our innate desires and emotions exist within our modern society.
