Artist Mi Ju is from South Korea, but she studied art in both Australia and the United States. Her paintings reflect her wide exposure to both Asian classical and popular art and also Western contemporary art.
Ju’s colorful and psychedelic paintings are stylistically similar to Anime, but they also contain what seems like a whole world of small sprites and characters from Buddhist temple murals.
