Public Movement on “Choreographies of Power”

Dana Yahalomi and Alhena Katsof of Public Movement discuss their performance “Choreographies of Power,” commissioned as part of the public programs for “But a Storm Is Blowing from Paradise.” The duo talks about how this work, which takes the form of a half-hour procession, addresses the relationship between the ambulatory bodies of participants and the museum’s artworks and interior, the political dimension of collecting, and the experience of working in the museum during exhibition installation.
