This is street art on a whole new level. A miniature level, that is. Slinkachu’s site-specific art is one that can be found right under your very nose.
The street artist creates miniature scenes captured in the cracks of sidewalks and nestled in between leaves. The humorous pieces feature tiny figurines living lives of their own right under feet. Children swim in pools of melting ice cream or microscopic gardeners trimming giant plants seeping out of cracks in the pavement. The pieces are meant to spark conversation about the environment, globalization, and the isolation found in large cities.
