Roxanne is arguably one of the most famous songs ever performed by the Police and it was this exact song that inspired the Roxanne armchair designed by Michael Young for Gufram. Because of their expertise in working with polyurethane foam, Gufram was actually one of the main suppliers for Italian discos in the 70’s and worked with imaginative and eccentric Italian designers to design innovative seating.

The new Roxanne armchair is characterized by a groove along the perimeter of the seat called The Tube that’s useful as a pocket for purses, phones or documents, making it an ideal choice for clubs, restaurants, hotel lobbies and lounges. Made completely from polyurethane foam, the armchair has an ergonomically friendly design that’s comfortable and inviting to sit in.
